My iPhone app path towards a "perfect" ...
Experience iPhone: iPhone app on my way to "perfect". Introduction and reflections
Welcome to all!
What is this space? First I introduce myself ... I'm Richard and I'm trying to make some free time in the iPhone app.
I have already tried his hand at making my first app: iBall Challenge . Although with good results (average votes 4.5 / 5 in a different store) today, after about 3 months after its publication, I was able to use my app to 2600 users only, resulting in an overall gain (so far) of $ 100.
These results have led me to consider "good" my skills but certainly highlight a problem of realization of advertising.
I then began to seriously study the techniques of marketing and what should be an app for a successful app. Unfortunately the network are not significant experiences but on advice maximum, fairly obvious.
This blog was created for this purpose: a guide to the creation of an iPhone application, but not from a technical point of view. We will discuss the study of the niche market of interest, market studies, how to develop a winning idea, how to publicize the app, what should and should not have to have an app.
I do not claim to own the truth: I start with "humble" studies and comments on my previous app iBall Challenge .
This is a path that we do together: we start from zero up to the realization of the app "perfect" for that category. Why take this journey together? Why do we all stand to gain: I personally do to improve and enhance my mental pathways and to improve my app, just as you!
It would be a real shame that this blog is not supported and sustained by all of you: it is in our interest to know the winning strategies to sell and we can set up a community which "holds the truth" about winning strategies. This result may seem exaggerated, but maybe you have to start from this premise to build something interesting!
For now I can not think of anything else to write! Let me know right now, from this simple introduction, what do you think, what you would like from this blog, what are your expectations!
Follow me many subscribing to my feed , or becoming a fan on facebook or mailing list (box on right) and at the next meeting ... we will start immediately! (If you want to tell your friends to this new blog using the "share" below!)

I share fully the difficulties relating to the marketing logic.
I, however, are grappling with the first steps sull'Xcode with the clear intention of writing my own app perhaps more suited to
Enterprise world. (I also try those who can help me in completing the "right" ...)
I hope risentissi! good luck!!

This article gives you a nice list: http://iphone.appstorm.net/roundups/developer/the-complete-iphone-development-toolbox/
In particular, I suggest you study Cocos2d for 2d games and follow the course of stanford: http://www.stanford.edu/class/cs193p/cgi-bin/drupal/downloads-2010-winter .

I agree with you and write an application that is only the first step, the advertising is the soul of everything and if a product will never do as good if the road is not supported by a good PR team.
I'll be happy to make you a beautiful and healthy Zoelounge.it advertising on my blog, and do not stop even if you have a few users who follow you, sooner or later you'll get to know you and your users more reliable ....

Hello Richard.
Meanwhile, congratulations and good luck for the initiative that I hope has a large following.
Personally, I approached the world of development iPiattaforme a couple of months with predominantly niche applications (see the applications of Tristan app store) and I must say that you are right about everything.
Unfortunately the Italian market, and in particular the local marketing, it is very difficult, you do not have the same visibility in the United States and, often, the Italian sites give more prominence to "fartate" and "mirrored" to the things that some 'more serious.
I really hope that this blog is finally addressing the issue of marketing of the "beautiful country" and we can all draw on something good.
